Problem: Christendom College needed a fresh overhaul of their messaging and marketing for their $40 million Capital Campaign. It wasn’t that their previous efforts were stale– their leadership team desired a brand new vibe that encompassed energy, hope, and boldness as the college moved into the future.
Solution: I worked with the awesome team at Christendom to create a robust brand package for the campaign that encompassed a logo treatment, colors, fonts, and style guides that turned into a 24-page brochure and an interactive campaign website. The goal was to make an impact, and the visual style we created ushered in a new era for Christendom – welcoming in incredible success with nearly all funds raised for their effort.
What I did: Brand creation, website design/build, graphic design, layouts and brochure design
Learned: People told me that Christendom wouldn’t be open to bold design thinking, and I constantly felt challenged to push the envelope while respecting the incredible tradition of the institution. I learned that I had to trust my instincts, tell great stories, and build a flexible process to engage stakeholders and progress the mission.
